IMRO Rwanda is deeply committed to advancing human rights and social justice through comprehensive advocacy efforts. Our multifaceted approach encompasses rigorous research, strategic campaigning, community outreach, and awareness-raising initiatives targeting stakeholders and the wider community. Central to our mission is empowering civil society organisations (CSOs), community leaders, and activists with the necessary skills and knowledge to advocate for legislative and policy reforms effectively. IMRO Rwanda collaborates with stakeholders to monitor the government’s implementation of Universal Periodic Review (UPR) recommendations, ensuring accountability and respect for human rights. The insights from this monitoring serve as the foundation for advocacy efforts directed towards the national government and submissions to international human rights mechanisms, driving positive change and fostering a more just society.
